Hazon Cross-USA Bike Ride

This summer (June 13-Aug. 18), dozens of cyclists will take part in the Hazon Cross-USA Bike Ride to raise money and awareness for sustainability in both our transportation and food systems. The Ride is open to the entire Jewish community and the organizers hope to have participants from all over the country. Apply at http://www.hazon.org/programs/cross-usa-ride/application/

Congregation Emanu-El's own Rabbi Elizabeth Goldstein is riding the Seattle-Spokane leg of the ride.

Not a cyclist but want to support the event? South Hill residents can host Hazon riders as they come through town. If you want to host Friday and Saturday nights, June 21-22, contact Sue Glass at (509) 838-2560 or sueandcamber@juno.com.
