New Year Brings Changes to VMP
The end of the year is bittersweet for the VMP team, as we say goodbye to our Director of Programs, Rebekah Holbrook, and wish her well in her new role as Director of Community Impact: Education at the United Way of Greater Richmond and Petersburg.

Rebekah has been a part of the VMP family for more than 9 years, serving in several different roles, and has truly been a dedicated leader in our agency. From her years of providing trainings and consultation to mentors and mentoring programs, to her successful development of a quality improvement process to help programs enhance their quality, Rebekah has had an incredible impact on the strength and growth of the mentoring field in Richmond and throughout Virginia.

"I am very excited for the opportunity to look at positive youth development from a new angle and contribute to the nonprofit community in different way. However, VMP has been my professional home since 2005 and I have come to know many wonderful people in the mentoring field during that time. So I am leaving with mixed emotions," Rebekah reflects. All of us at VMP know that she will not be far away, and that mentoring will always be a part of her life.

Rebekah and her mentee, Madelaine

THANK YOU to Rebekah Holbrook for her hard work, thoughtful leadership, and outstanding dedication to Virginia Mentoring Partnership. We will miss you, but send you off with all of our good wishes and support!

There's Still Time to Support Our Annual Fund
As we come to the end of 2014, VMP also closes out its fiscal year. We have not yet reached our annual fund goal, and we would appreciate your help. Any gift, no matter the size, helps us to provide our services to support mentors and mentoring programs--and ultimately children in Virginia who need a mentor.

To those of you who have supported us in 2014, THANK YOU. And if you haven't yet, there is still time!
