Physical Improvement Projects Continue Throughout King of Prussia
KOP-BID Begins New Landscape Improvement Projects

KOP-BID continues its landscape improvement projects throughout King of Prussia. In 2013, KOP-BID has completed or is in the process of completing the following landscape improvement projects:

Flower bulbs at I-76 ramps.
  • Area Around New I-76 Ramps: Thanks to a generous donation from Upper Merion Township, the King of Prussia Mall and America Responds with Love, KOP-BID planted 8,000 flower bulbs, in early April 2013, that have brought life and color to the heavily traveled corridor and major entryway into King of Prussia.
  • Henderson Road: Working with Upper Merion Township Transportation Authority, KOP-BID funded landscape improvements along Henderson Road from Queen Drive to Saulin Boulevard. The new landscaping includes a mix of native Pennsylvania shrubs, perennials, grasses and trees.
  • Business Park Entryways: KOP-BID is working with Simone Collins Landscape Architecture and several King of Prussia property owners to improve the landscape and gateways into the King of Prussia business park at First Avenue and N. Gulph Road. The project will begin summer 2013.
  • Gateway Signs: KOP-BID is working to design landscaping that will complement the Welcome To King of Prussia Gateway Signs installed by KOP-BID in 2012. Two additional gateway signs will be installed in 2013.
