New VisitKOP App Launched & Free to Download
Available for iPhone and Android
We're excited to announce the launch of VisitKOP; a mobile application for the iPhone and Android platforms. KOP-BID partnered with King of Prussia based Lorel Marketing Group to design the mobile app that will help King of Prussia visitors, residents and employees navigate the numerous shopping, dining and hospitality options, as well as, highlight the attractions and events happening within the District.
The VisitKOP mobile application brings together the entire KOP experience in a simple and easy-to-use tool available free for download and use.
The mobile application displays the address, telephone number, and provides directions to each business. The map option enables users to find their desired location easily and recommends the closest parking options, optimized with GPS. The integrated weather feature provides weather forecasts and a 'Find my Car' feature provides users with the location where they parked, optimized with GPS.

Lots of fun at our Friday Night Preview Party!

Over 2,300 people attended our First Annual Beerfest over the course of two days and three sessions. Attendees enjoyed sampling beer from over 35 different local craft and German brewers, dining on food from KOP's finest restaurants and listening to live music on two stages!
A photo gallery with pictures from the entire event will be available early next week on Facebook, Flickr, and kopbeerfest.com.
Be sure to mark your calendars for Beerfest Royale 2013, taking place the first weekend in October 2013!

Landscape Medians Receive Accolades
KOP-BID Medians Honored by Upper Merion Township & PHS
 | |
Landscaped median on DeKalb Pike near Henderson Road in full bloom!
|
In the fall of 2011 and spring of 2012, KOP-BID completed landscape improvements on five medians on DeKalb Pike and three medians on First Ave. The once barren medians were transformed with a variety of lush perennials, grasses, shrubs and trees that now bring year-round interest.
The medians were carefully designed to be tolerant of the tough, dry and salty conditions and are maintained weekly by our landscape contractor.
Our work on these medians was recently recognized with a Beautification Award by Upper Merion Township and a Community Greening Award by The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS).
We are honored to be recognized by our Township and PHS, and we plan to continue our landscape improvements in the future.
