Clothes reveal personality types
The four classic personalities come across through clothes, just as much as by words and behavior.

Do hippy clothes scream BLUE? Maybe? Would that be true all the time? What are your Blue Guru friends wearing these days? See this week's blog entry for an opinion.

Do Green Geeks usually look like "geeks"? Like nearly everybody on The Big Bang Theory?

How about Gold Loyalists? Are they dressed sort of plain? Would they think so? Or have you seen them in trendy outfits outside of work? See the blog.

How about the Orange Badasses? What do THEY wear that others don't? If you are not "lucky enough" to be a Badass, do you wish you were and so you dress like one?

Yes, Four Windows is evolving with this new face of Personality as a Second Language. If you've been at a recent workshop, you know that interaction happens every hour, not just at beginning and end. Soon a special PSL website will be launched and will provide practice in the native languages and native cultures of all four personality types. And, yes, PSL has drills and exercises and vocabulary and grammar -- just like for French or Chinese. But you will be fluent in PSL at least 9000 hours sooner and have more fun than with old-school "second" languages. Count on it and stay tuned.

Did you take the free version
of the 4W Personality Survey?
The free survey that you find on my website is not some quickie tease to get you to buy my services. It is simply a free survey - almost identical to the one you take for my workshops. (What's different is the introvert/extrovert questions were cut out.)

It looks like this on the home page. Click right here if you want to!

Most people invite friends and family members to take the survey so they can "learn stuff" and have great conversations.

Teachers have had their entire classes take it to help figure out their students' learning styles and to help students get along better with each other.

The only "marketing" attached to the survey is that takers will get to be on my email list - an option every person can "unsubscribe" from immediately. Personally I think my emails are pretty darn interesting, but I'm partisan.

Go on now. Share the survey, folks. It's on the home page of my website: http://www.jackdermody.com

The purpose of these newsletters is to offer practical applications of temperament theory for everyday use. Personality really does matter for successful human interaction. Thank you for your input that adds to these efforts.

Sincerely,
