What Are IBS Symptoms?

Among the symptoms associated with IBS are:

  • Diarrhea.
  • Constipation.
  • Constipation alternating with diarrhea.
  • Abdominal pains or cramps, usually in the lower half of the abdomen that are aggravated by meals & relieved by having a bowel movement.
  • Excess gas or bloating.
  • Harder or looser stools than normal (rabbit like pellets or flat ribbon stools).
  • Visible abdominal distension.

Running to the Bathroom Again Because You Have Diarrhea Caused by Irritable Bowel Syndrome?

Bathroom If this is a common occurrence in your life you may qualify for a clinical research study.

 

Rapid Medical Research is looking for volunteers, 18-80 years of age, who have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and suffer from diarrhea.

 

Qualified participants will receive study medication and study-related exams at no cost. Compensation is provided for time and travel.

Is your pain medication* causing you constipation?

Advanced Clinical Research (ACR) is looking for people with constipation caused by opioid pain medication to participate in a research study.

 

If you are 18 to 80 years old and have constipation caused by your opioid pain medication taken for chronic non-cancer pain, you may qualify for a local research study of an investigational drug for constipation.

 

All study-related visits, tests, and study drugs will be provided to participants at no cost. In addition, reimbursement for study-related travel may be provided.

 

*Prescription opioid medications that may cause constipation include: Vicodin, Duragesic, OxyContin, Percocet, as well as many others.

Smiling Group A clinical trial is underway at Rapid Medical Research to test the safety and effectiveness of a new, investigational type of Smallpox vaccine. You have the option to help medical research to develop a vaccine for Smallpox.

 

 

To be eligible for the trial, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a healthy adult between the ages of 18 and 40
  • Have not received any type of Smallpox vaccine previously
  • Pass a physical exam and undergo blood and urine tests

All trial-related visits and testing will be provided at no charge. Qualifying participants will receive compensation for time and travel.
