Little Free Library Blessed at St. Michael's
On April 12th, St. Michael's blessed the newest ministry in their parish, The Little Free Library. The Little Free Library movement began in 2009 with the give a book, take a book approach providing small libraries in pedestrian-friendly areas. The Little Free Libraries are places where patrons can leave a good book and/or take a new one. The St. Michael's Little Free Library was funded in part by proceeds from Lent Madness and has become quite the popular stop for those in the neighborhood enjoying St. Michael's gardens and playground, children in St. Michael's School, and churchgoers alike to see what new story might be waiting to be read. To learn more about the Little Free Library, check out their website at littlefreelibrary.org.
