Christian formation resources On Line!
|
The Episcopal Diocese of Lexington now has resource pages to help with all areas of Christian Formation. The Diocesan Christian Education Committee has put together resources on children, youth, youth Confirmation, EfM, adult, older adult and resources on sacraments. These are all available with information about each program and ideas. To access the new resource link, go to www.diolex.org, then on the green line "Resources" scroll down to "Christian Formation" and a menu of all the offerings for all the ages is listed.
The resources listed are for use by all people in our diocese and include ideas, suggestions, resources, successfully used programs in our diocese, and links to get the materials. Known cost is included if known. Also included is parishes that have used the program so they can be contacted for more information or for questions.
If your parish has used a program and liked it and it is not listed, then please contact the Chair, the Rev. Lauren Villemuer-Drenth, at lauren@goodshepherdlex.org, and we will include it. We would also welcome comments about the resources for others to see. We would also encourage honest criticism about all resources.

Call for Entries: Of the Heart 2013
| The world is charged with the grandeur of God. It will flame out, like shining from shook foil... (Gerard Manley Hopkins) The Episcopal Church & Arts issues a call for their latest Open-Studio exhibition. As artists we often express those aspects and experiences of faith which come from the heart and cannot be understood or described by words alone. For this open-studio exhibition, we invite you to submit a work which communicates some moment, or moments, in which you have experienced your heart's recognition of the presence of Spirit or the grandeur of God.
