Hook into healthy mushroom and fish meals
Easter can be chocolate overload. Here is our suggestion to counterbalance this period of indulgence.
- Put down that chocolate (OK - have one last bite, it's Easter after all!)
- Check out our range of simple, delicious, healthy mushroom and fish meals.
- Choose your favourite, with plenty of nutritious mushrooms.
- Cook and enjoy (or better still have someone else cook and just focus on the enjoy part!).
- Repeat steps 1-4 as many times as practicable.

Mushrooms and fish - a great Easter combination
The tradition of eating fish at Easter is steeped in history. Many years ago, Good Friday was known as Long Friday, due to the long fast imposed by the Christian Church. While some Christians still observe a fast on Good Friday, many more have adopted the custom of eating fish at Easter as an alternative to meat.
So, if you are looking around for a meat substitute that ticks all the boxes when it comes to flavour then grab some mushrooms. In fact, why not bring together a little bit of old tradition, with some of a new tradition and try the combination of mushrooms and fish.
In Australia we spent $22.3 million on fish and seafood last Easter as more and more people moved to healthier options for their family and friends.
