We want to get to know what you are doing on a personal level so that we can best represent you and bring you meaningful opportunities.

STEM Conference and Expo- May 16, 2014 REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

We will be opening registration for the 2014 conference on January first! Check your emails often to assure that you are registered!! REGISTER EARLY and take advantage of our highly discounted rate!
CALLING ALL TECHNOLOGY TEACHERS! We are looking specifically for elementary and middle school teachers to present their best STEM lessons at our conference. If you are interested please email pcapasso@njteea.org.

Each session at the conference will post it's materials to our website directly from their session so that you will walk away from the conference with a solid understanding of the workshops you attend as well as the learning materials for those workshops you could not make it to!

| Rutger's Day! | |
The 2014 Rutgers Day will be held on April 26 from 10:00 AM--4:00 PM on the New Brunswick / Piscataway campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. This is a great opportunity for everyone,from small children to teenagers to adults to learn more about their state university. The event is Free for everyone and will be held rain or shine. Activities include tours,concerts,lectures,art,performances and a chance to meet Rutgers professors,staff,students, and alumni. Enjoy the engineering open house,agricultural field day,the new medical school, and view construction of the new Rutgers Honors College classroom buildings and dorms.Sporting events,including the Rutgers Spring Football Game,will go on throughout the day. Food and Rutgers souvenirs will be available for purchase. Rutgers merchandise is always available at www.rutgersfever.com. Tours of the Rutgers campus can be arranged anytime throughout the year by calling the Rutgers Visitors Center at 732-445-1000. Rowan University STEM Center: McSiip
|
McSiip at the STEM Center at Rowan University is offering a wide variety of engaging, hands-on mathematics and science professional development workshops this spring with a focus on the Common Core State Standards.
Presenters are Rowan University professors and staff: Dr. Janet Caldwell, Dr. Eric Milou, Dr. Karen Heinz, Dr. John Hermann, Dr. Paul Laumakis, Dr. Marlena Herman, Dr. Issam Abi-El-Mona, Bill Smith and Gerard Telmosse.
All workshops are $125 per day and will be held at Rowan University. The times vary, so please check the descriptions below or on thebrochure. The workshops from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm will include a 1/2 hour lunch break, so please bring a brown-bag lunch. The workshops from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm will only have a few breaks, but no long lunch breaks.
