Greetings!
NJTEEA invites you to our workshop on helping your students create admissions portfolios on February 28th at South Brunswick High School.
This workshop will focus on college admission portfolios for Technology Education students. What are colleges looking for? What else would be helpful to include? Acceptance into a university's architecture school is highly competitive, and often a portfolio is required. Therefore, along with teaching students the basic fundamentals of architecture, which include drawn floor plans and building models, other activities that support a portfolio should be an integral part of the curriculum.
This workshop will answer the questions above and explore inspirational assignments for the creation of an architectural portfolio. Come for a "show & tell" sharing activities that students complete that are appropriate for a college admissions portfolio and the sharing of various design briefs.
