NJTEEA would like to invite you to register for their Innovative Technology Educator (ITE) workshop #4 at Roselle Park High School in Union County, NJ on February 5th, 2013.
This workshop will focus on architecture at the middle school and high school level with a focus on Green Architecture and Building. Topics presented will include the built environment's impact on the environment, what "green", "going green," and "sustainability" mean in relationship to architecture, the history of green building practices, passive solar design, site planning, and landscaping.
An introduction to architectural planning using both Architectural Home Designer (Chief Architect) and Revit will be demonstrated as well as time allotted for attendees to work with the programs and the green concepts in a hands on manner.
