Greetings!


For the upcoming 2013/2014 academic year, the following positions on the Executive Board will be open:

  1. President Elect
  2. Secretary

 

We are currently soliciting nominations for these two positions.  Please feel free to nominate a friend, colleague, or yourself for either of these positions.  Please complete the nomination form by clicking on the link.  Also, please review the descriptions for the two positions below.

President Elect:

  1.        Assist the President in his/her duties and preside in his/her absence.
  2.        Serve as an ex-officio member of all committees. 
  3.        Assist the conference coordinator in developing the program for the annual state                      conference. 
  4.        Assist the Awards Committee chairperson.
  5.        Submit agenda items and a report of all responsibilities to the President for                              each Executive Board meeting.
  6.        Perform any other task regarding association business so requested by the President.

 

Secretary:

  1.        Keep the minutes of regular and special Executive Board meetings.
  2.        Maintain a record of all minutes and have them available upon request.
  3.        Provide a copy of the minutes of each Executive Board meeting, within two weeks                    after the meeting, to each member of the Executive Board, Representative Council, and to        any Association member who requests same.
  4.        Maintain a record of all correspondence submitted to the Executive Board.
  5.        Maintain a file of Association email updates.
  6.        Maintain records of all elections.
  7.        Submit agenda items and a report of all responsibilities to the President for each                      Executive Board meeting.
