Discover the Health Benefits of Yoga
Yoga has been around for centuries, but in America, it was mostly viewed with suspicion. That is definitely changing now. Modern medicine is beginning to embrace the ancient Indian discipline of yoga, acknowledging that it can help reduce stress and ease physical ailments ranging from back pain to heart disease. There are many forms of yoga, but all share the core elements of challenging postures, focused breathing and self-acceptance.Yoga is beneficial for the whole person - spirit, mind and body.
We invite you to join us at SolSpring for a free one hour workshop called "Introduction to Yoga" on Wednesday, March 13 from 5:45 - 6:45 pm. Led by Diane Glenn, certified Sport Yoga Instructor and Service Coordinator at SolSpring, participants will be given a short overview of yoga and a chance to try it out for themselves. You'll discover how yoga can assist with injuries and sore spots for people who are active in sports, as well as improving general wellness. Diane has found relief from chronic back pain through yoga and she is passionate about sharing yoga with others. Wear comfortable clothes and join us in the solarium on March 13!

Words from Bonnie Gildea What is Success? "People create success in their lives by focusing on today." Those are the words of leadership expert John Maxwell in his book "Today Matters." He says there are no "quick fixes." No person, and no business, is ever an "overnight success." Success happens slowly, day by day, decision by decision. Every day, we make choices about how to spend our time, our resources, what our attitude will be, what we will eat, speak and do. These decisions - some small and some large - determine what our life will be like tomorrow. This is true in our personal, as well as in our professional, lives. One of SolSpring's core values is to create a business environment where everyone is respected and encouraged to grow and succeed. We embrace abundance, for ourselves and for others. Every day, as much as we are able, we intentionally try to inspire, improve and add value to our staff and to our clients. We do this by providing the most professional, yet compassionate and personalized wellness services possible, in an environment that promotes healing and tranquility. Some things may change, but our commitment to success will not. |
