A total of 3,898 archaeological pieces will be repatriated this year to Peru from Argentina following a decades-long court battle, the Peruvian government said. Prime Minister Ana Jara said her government was pleased that Argentine authorities agreed to allow the repatriation of items that "are part of Peruvian culture." Jara, along with Foreign Minister Gonzalo Gutierrez and Culture Minister Diana Alavarez Calderon, attended an exhibition of 42 other cultural items returned to Peru.

Grupo Express Per� operates a regular service with 150 buses between the capital city and the country's chief seaport. Many bus services in Lima operated in the past without any timetable or definite departure times, but for the new Lima-Callao concession, GEP Lima wants to attract passengers by offering a reliable service with punctual departures and high quality standards.
