Peru's gross domestic product is expected to expand by 5 percent this year and by 6.3 percent in 2015 driven by a strong domestic demand, brokerage Inteligo SAB said Sunday.

The country risk measures the ability of a country to meet its financial obligations and the implicit political risk, and based on that, the country receives an international credit rating. The main consequences of a high country risk are a drop in foreign investment and lower economic growth which could lead to unemployment and low wages.

The Peru This Week team visited the recently opened T-Bone Prime Steakhouse in Surco. Our first impressions were excellent. Even though this restaurant is considered a steakhouse, we were pleased with the extensive menu selections. There is something for everyone... be you a meat lover, fish fan, or even vegetarian. The quality of the dishes we sampled was good all around, ingredients were fresh and the executions were precise. We visited T-Bone at lunch and the crowd was on the light side. The dinner crowd tends to be heavier.

The colourful entertainers danced to live music and delighted the crowds by making faces and playing with puppets. The Cultural Association of Clowns and Circus Performers of Peru started its annual march in 2006.
