The New Teen Space Now Open!
Our big thanks to Michael Piekarz and his family, along with the many boy scouts and volunteers who worked to make the new Teen Space a reality. The move took place throughout the day Saturday, November 3 and on Tuesday, November 13, we hosted nearly 30 community teens for an opening celebration. Teen specialist Naomi Magnoni has worked diligently to coordinate the move, taking input from our Teen Advisory Group and getting surveys out to middle and high school students. There is a plan for getting some artwork and additional shelving for the space. Our thanks to the Friends of the Library for partial funding toward the space - including refreshments for a variety of teen planning sessions and the grand opening. And, our sincere appreciation to Domino's Pizza of Southborough for feeding the volunteers on the day of the move. Great job, everyone - the space looks nice!

College Financial Aid Night
David Landry will return to thecollege  Southborough Library for another session of College Financial Aid Night on Wednesday,  December 5, at 6:30 p.m. (this session was originally scheduled for November 7). These meetings are a great way to learn how to simplify the college financial aid process and maximize the amount of aid for your child. Library Wish List 2012
If you are thinking about making a donation to your favorite library, we are always in need of: paper for printers and copy machine; large cork bulletin boards; this year, we are hoping for a Kuerig (or similar) coffee maker for the staff break room (!) as well as gift cards to Barnes & Noble or Amazon, to allow us to purchase e-books.
Thank you, Southborough Gardeners

We hardly ever take the time to thank this great group, the Southborough Gardeners, for their program that provides one-of-a-kind handmade floral arrangements for the Library ten months of the year. People enjoy your handiwork, Gardeners, and the Library Trustees, Staff and I thank you!
