"May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year."

It is the time on the calendar when we look at ourselves, and examine our relationships -- with others and with God. When we celebrate a new beginning. And when we practice the essential values that bind us as Jews: teshuvah, tefilah, and tzedekah -- repentance, prayer, and good deeds.

This year, we are once again delighted to announce that High Holy Day services will be held in our own Beth Chaim sanctuary. We look forward to accommodating all of our members, and to welcoming your extended family and friends as well.

In order that we may plan our services appropriately, we ask that you click on the link at the bottom of this email. You will be taken to a short membership attendance form that will enable you to provide us with the information we need. Most importantly:

1. Indicate how many of your family, including guests, will attend your selected services.

We need to know how many family members and guests will be in your party for each of our services, including the two Children's Services. Please provide the names of your guests so they may be checked in at the time of services, as with all members.

Also, even if you are not planning to attend, we ask that you still access the webform by clicking the link below, and let us know of your intentions on the form. This will help us determine how many extra seats will be available for the services.

And please know that if your plans should change at any time, you can revisit the link or call Heidi in the office, at 925-736-7146, to change your response.

2. Indicate whether you are interested in childcare.

Childcare will be available for potty-trained children, ages 3-7 years old for $10 per day. This will include adult supervised activities in a pre-school classroom.

3. Please provide your response no later than Tuesday, September 1st.

You will receive a confirmation email after submitting your responses. No "tickets" will be issued for members who are attending; you merely need to check in at the "Welcome Table" prior to your selected services.

We thank you for your cooperation with these instructions, and look forward to seeing you at Beth Chaim and sharing the sweetness of this wonderful holiday with you.

B'Shalom,
