If you went outside across the patio,
Past the picnic tables and umbrellas,
All the way to where the grass begins,
Turned left, and looked
behind the school buildings,
You'd see it.
Two raised beds,
A few irrigation hoses 
And some trellises.

That's our garden.

It's one of our best-kept secrets -
But, not any more.

We're going to grow the garden 
this summer.
We'll start small -- with tomatoes, squash, beans and potatoes.
It'll be an adventure as we experiment 
to see what we will grow in 
our garden space.

The Religious School helped get our garden ready for planting. 

They turned the soil, spread the straw, and pulled weeds. 

They've worked hard, and we're so proud of them.

We'll be tending the garden throughout the Summer to grow the vegetables 
they planted.
