Increase Your Sense of Happiness in Life

Neuroscience has proven without a doubt that practices in mindfulness and lovingkindness can considerably increase our sense of happiness in life.

Brain science also shows that music can uplift and transform our emotional state. These practices are deeply rooted in the Jewish spiritual path.

About the leader

Eve Decker, certified meditation teacher and Beth Chaim's High Holiday song leader, is thrilled to offer practices and songs that can be of real support to us in daily life.

She is a long term student of the dharma and began practicing Vipassana and Metta meditation in the early 1990's. She trained in mindfulness based social action through the two year Path of Engagement program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and became a certified meditation teacher there through the Community Dharma Leader Program.

Come ready to learn, experience, and sing (and/or listen)!

This beautiful song about self-love and acceptance inspired well-known music photographer Irene Young and video editor Laurelin Reminton-Wolf to produce this video by Jennifer Berezan.
