Good News!!  

Spokane Water Trail Access at Convention Center Takes Big Step Forward

 
The Spokane Park Board adopted a resolution, and the Public Facilities District (PFD) has agreed to its terms, that details next steps for partnering with the PFD to develop a non-motorized water trail put-in and take-out at Division Street Bridge, support Centennial Trail improvements, provide shoreline restoration and viewpoints, and install other infrastructure improvements. SFCC hosting art exhibit, "Mapping the Spokane River"

 

The Spokane Falls Community College of Fine Art Gallery is hosting the exhibit Mapping the Spokane River. The exhibit will run from September 23rd to October 18th.

 

Greg Schlanger, who also teaches and is chair of the art department at Central Washington University, is the artist. "Maps provide a sense of place.
