Welcome back to the final eight weeks of School Year 2014-2015!   Our Grandparents and Special Friends event ended our school day (4/2) with a bang!  The campus buzzed with the excitement and chatter of loving family and friends who hold our students close to their hearts.  Everyone was able to enjoy a brief program and classroom time, then delve in to the Scholastic Book Fair and sit in the shade to eat a snack, or grab a cup of coffee.  Some students left early with their guests, others stayed through daycare, but all were thrilled with the thought of a break from school routine.

Now we look ahead with eager anticipation to Casino Night, at 6 p.m. on April 25.    A good number of donations have come in, yet we still need our families and friends to buy event tickets.  Mrs. Jackson, Mrs. Tamparong, Ms. Flores, Mrs. Berry and others have been working industriously on the myriad of assignments needing completion before this biggest fundraiser of the year.  Room parents have helped to produce fabulous classroom auction items!  Be sure to talk to your student about their contribution to the auction.  Remember, there are just two more spins in which students can participate by selling two books of raffle tickets, buying event tickets or bringing in donations for the auction.
