LG Electronics and Sears Recall Gas Dryers Due to Fire Hazard

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firms named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer products. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately until a repair is completed on affected dryers. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.

Bought a Customer a New Refrigerator

Last week I was working on an ice maker on a French door Frigidaire refrigerator with the bullet style ice maker.  As I was removing the side panel to get to the wires to grease with dielectric grease, I broke the cap tube line while moving them to get the side panel off. I have worked on more than 50 of these units and never had a problem.  more...
