After the resounding success of the CASN Clinical Instructor Certificate Course Fall 2013, Winter 2014, Fall 2014, Spring 2015 and Fall 2015 sessions, CASN is pleased to announce that this course is being offered again for the sixth time starting October 2016!!

Apr�s le succ�s retentissant du cours menant � l'obtention d'un certificat en enseignement clinique de l'ACESI de l'automne 2013, de l'hiver 2014, de l'automne 2014, du printemps 2015 et de l'automne 2015, l'ACESI a le plaisir d'annoncer que ce cours sera offert pour la 6e fois en octobre 2016!!
 
In recognition of the importance of the research currently underway in nursing education, CASN offers an annual award to an established scholar with a strong program of research in nursing. The CASN Pat Griffin Nursing Education Research Scholar position awards a one-time $10,000 grant to the named Scholar, who will present a lecture at CASN Council in the year of selection.
 
The nomination period is now open, and CASN is seeking individuals with a strong program of nursing education research. If you have any colleagues who meet these criteria, CASN invites you to forward their name for consideration to be the Pat Griffin Scholar for 2016. Nomination forms are available from CASN's website; the deadline for nominations is June 10, 2016.

 
Afin de reconna�tre l'importance de la recherche en formation infirmi�re, l'ACESI offre une subvention annuelle � une chercheuse �tablie, qui se distingue par un programme solide de recherche en sciences infirmi�re. Une subvention unique de 10 000 $ dollars est accord�e � la chercheuse r�cipiendaire de ce poste de recherche en formation infirmi�re Pat Griffin, qui pr�sentera une conf�rence magistrale � la r�union annuelle du Conseil de l'ACESI.
 
La p�riode de mise en candidature est maintenant ouverte. L'ACESI est � la recherche d'individus qui d�tiennent un programme solide de recherche en formation infirmi�re. Si vous avez des coll�gues qui rencontrent ces exigences, l'ACESI vous invite � nous faire parvenir leurs noms pour consid�ration pour le poste de recherche en formation infirmi�re Pat Griffin 2016.Les formulaires de mise en candidature sont disponibles sur le site web de l'ACESI. La date limite pour les mises en candidature est le 10 juin 2016.

The week-long workshop uses small and large group learning activities to develop knowledge and skill in searching for, accessing, and critically appraising the relevance and quality of evidence; interpreting and applying the evidence; and identifying strategies to implement evidence-informed decisions. The workshop is open to participants of all skill levels in EIDM, including clinicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, administrators, managers, librarians, and all health professionals.

Registration open until April 4, 2016. Presented by the Canadian Centre for Evidence-Based Nursing at McMaster University.
The Canadian Nurses Foundation grants more than $275,000 annually to nurses and nursing students in all areas of nursing practice. CNF is proud to offer more than 50 scholarships in support of nursing education.
