In recognition of the importance of the research currently underway in nursing education, CASN offers an annual award to an established scholar with a strong program of research in nursing. The CASN Pat Griffin Nursing Education Research Scholar position awards a one-time $10,000 grant to the named Scholar, who will present a lecture at CASN Council in the year of selection.
 
The nomination period is now open, and CASN is seeking individuals with a strong program of nursing education research. If you have any colleagues who meet these criteria, CASN invites you to forward their name for consideration to be the Pat Griffin Scholar for 2016. Nomination forms are available from CASN's website; the deadline for nominations is June 10, 2016.

 
Afin de reconnaître l'importance de la recherche en formation infirmière, l'ACESI offre une subvention annuelle à une chercheuse établie, qui se distingue par un programme solide de recherche en sciences infirmière. Une subvention unique de 10,000$ dollars est accordée à la chercheuse récipiendaire de ce poste de recherche en formation infirmière Pat Griffin, qui présentera une conférence magistrale à la réunion annuelle du Conseil de l'ACESI.
 
La période de mise en candidature est maintenant ouverte. L'ACESI est à la recherche d'individus qui détiennent un programme solide de recherche en formation infirmière. Si vous avez des collègues qui rencontrent ces exigences, l'ACESI vous invite à nous faire parvenir leurs noms pour considération pour le poste de recherche en formation infirmière Pat Griffin 2016.Les formulaires de mise en candidature sont disponibles sur le site web de l'ACESI. The Canadian Nurses Foundation grants more than $275,000 annually to nurses and nursing students in all areas of nursing practice. CNF is proud to offer more than 50 scholarships in support of nursing education.

Application deadline: March 31, 2016

Chaque année, la Fondation des infirmières et infirmiers du Canada octroie plus de 275 000 $ à des infirmières et infirmiers et des étudiant(e)s en sciences infirmières dans tous les domaines de la pratique infirmière.

Date limite : le 31 mars 2016   
This award-winning continuing education program is recognized by public health organizations across Canada. All of the online courses contain practical, interactive Canadian content to help individuals and employee groups acquire the skills and knowledge they need to meet the Core Competencies for Public Health.

Registration for the Winter Term runs from November 16, 2015 to January 3, 2016. The session start date is January 18, 2016 for all facilitated courses. Self-directed courses are available at any time during the year.

Introduction to International Health Regulations 2005 (IHR) will be available as a self-directed (and free) online course in January 2016.
