MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Monday, December 14th
Kickoff: 5:30 PM
NEW YORK GIANTS at the MIAMI DOLPHINS

On Monday, December 7th, in a game that felt like it might never have a touchdown, the game suddenly turned into an interesting contest late in the fourth quarter. With Dallas and Washington exchanging touchdowns to keep the game tied at 16-16, the Cowboys nailed a field goal with just seconds left on the clock to earn the win......19-16.

MNF attendees were also treated to an exceptional (and inexpensive) meal prepared by guest chefs Neil & Carol Weinberg. And, as promised by Neil, the brats were indeed "par boiled" in beer and onions in the traditional fashion; (although rumor has it that the German Potato Salad was "imported" from one of the Island's more famous German restaurants). Based upon an analysis of the post half time member and guest commentary, the chefs truly earned a sincere "well done".

This Monday, plan on joining guest chefs Lance and Sue Bateman at half time; Lance and Sue will by preparing Chicken Marbella with Polenta and green salad. This is always a great entrée and our guest chefs always do a fine job. Hopefully the Giants/Dolphins will cooperate on the field and continue the streak of some pretty exciting football we have enjoyed over the last several weeks.

Monday Night Football is a great opportunity to stop by EYC and visit with other members and guests and enjoy the game. Dinner is usually presented at half time so bring along an appetizer for all to share.

The bar IS open for MNF and is manned by our regular bartenders on a volunteer basis. Really, they volunteer for this.

EYC Monday Night Football is a great way to meet other members, have fun and try out a new dish. There will be additional information in future Signal Flag issues.

See you all on Monday, December 14th!
