2016 Cruise Destination Planning Meeting
Saturday, December 5th, 9:00 to 11:00 AM
EYC's Regatta Room

As many of you know (and some of our newer members may not know), EYC has a very active Cruising Fleet. Cruise destinations may be laid back (e.g. Delta Daze) while others are a bit more planned (e.g. South Beach). The 2015 schedule included both destinations as well as cruise outs to Treasure Island, Benicia Yacht Club, Sausalito, Marin Yacht Club, Angel Island, Half Moon Bay, Berkeley Yacht Club and China Camp.

We will be launching the 2016 season on January 1st with our annual New Year's Day "Cruise Around the Island" with stops at Aeolian Yacht Club, Ballena Bay Yacht Club, etc. The 2016 calendar will also include several "cruise ins" to EYC; (4th of July, Mardi Gras, etc.).

If you would like to be added to the 2016 Cruising Fleet email list, send an email with your contact info to Hal Lynam (Hal and Laurie Lynam are the Cruise Captains for 2016). Hal's email address:  Better yet, if you are interested in participating, have a suggested destination, or are interested in leading a cruise, plan to attend the session on December 5th. This is the meeting where cruise leaders are determined and destinations are selected and scheduled for the upcoming calendar year.

One destination already in the planning stage is a Labor Day Cruise of the San Juan Islands. Look for more information in an upcoming Signal Flag.

BTW, s/v's and m/v's are both welcome.

We look forward to hearing from you.
