Welcome to the start of the 83nd Legislative Session! I will be sworn in along with the other state representatives on January 8th, at noon in the House Chambers of the State Capitol in Austin. As we begin this new year, I want to thank everyone for allowing me the privilege of serving everyone in previous House District 32 (Aransas, Calhoun, Nueces and San Patricio Counties). It was truly an honor for me to return to the Texas Capitol as your State Representative. In this upcoming 83rd Legislative Session I will be serving a portion of Nueces County. I have made many friends and will continue to rally the interest of the coastal region.

Since the opening of the 2012 pre-filing period, more than 454 bills were filed with the Chief Clerk of the House and the Secretary of the Senate's respective offices. Read the full article. |
