Vineyard Reflections

Weathered boat near Lake Tashmoo
Martha's Vineyard Island is located 5 miles south off the Massachusetts coast.
Moon over Hines Point and Lagoon Pond
A painter's paradise...this canvas shows nashaquitsa pond...

Wildflowers near in West Tisbury are an interesting play on
primary and secondary colors.
East Chop Lighthouse under Celestial Sky was inspired by the thought that
lighthouses and the stars both helped seafarers navigate.
Rafted fishing boats in old Menemsha Harbor.
Five fences at Tashmoo Farm. Finding patterns, in this case five criss-crossing fences, is among the interesting pictorial subjects I look for.

View of the Aquinnah shops and Gay Head Lighthouse atop the colorful clay cliffs. This area belongs to the Wampanoag Tribe. I had the pleasure of teaching Video Production to younger members of the tribe, with the first topic being the tribal elders.
There are two ways to visit the Island, by plane or by ferry. The Islander at dusk gets ready for its first run to the mainland, offering a more nostalgic way to travel.
