World-renowned Cleveland based artist Derek Hess commences the new gallery with a signing of his latest book Black White and Red All Over. The new gallery will house much of his original art, fine art, prints and posters. The gallery in the future will also showcase many of today's up and coming artists along with well-established artists that Hess has become fans of over the years. Hess's work has been recognized in both the music and art world for over 20 years. Hess began creating promo flyers for shows in Cleveland, OH. These flyers soon gained the attention of a multitude of bands as well as the Grammy Museum, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Louvre in Paris of which his work is part of their permanent collections. In addition to countless CD covers and gallery shows all over the world, he has been featured on TLC, MTV, Fuse, VH1, Alternative Press, Newsweek and Juxtapoz just to name a few. More

Beatles fan and gallery owner Billy Nainiger says, "We love pulling artists together to create solid art like this collaboration piece. And you can't go wrong with the Beatles".  The focal piece of the CALACS is a 6ft-8in x 9ft-4in Sgt. Peppers Mural, created by 33 Cleveland artists (shown above).   In addition to the mural, the 33 artists were also assigned one of the 12 songs on the Sgt. Pepper album to interpret as fine art, which will be on display. More
