This Sunday we will start a new series called DON'T JUST CHECK THE BOX.  We are entering into the holiday season where it is easy to just check off the boxes of responsibilities and activity. This season we want you to do more than just check off "the box".
FUEL THIS SUNDAY:
We begin a new series called Real Talk.  Does prayer ever make you feel a little nervous?  Like it's something really formal?  Even Jesus' closest followers felt a little uncomfortable with prayer, so much so that they asked Him how to do it. How Jesus responds reveals that our ideas about prayer may have been wrong all along. As Jesus teaches His disciples how to pray, we learn that the best thing we can do for our relationship with God is to be less fancy, less formal, and have some more real talk.
CHRISTMAS 2015 FOR FAMILIES.
This Christmas you will have the chance as a family to not just LOOK at the Christmas story, but to EXPERIENCE Christmas! Gone are the days of someone else shaping what your kids know, understand or believe about Christmas...YOU get to shape that...and we are going to help. Through the four week self-guided "Christmas Experience", you will be resourced by our team to engage your kids with media, outings, challenges, projects and CONVERSATION!   • Dedicating your child is more than an event, it's your public declaration that you will be intentional in shaping the faith and character of your child.  The next child dedication service will take place at 9:30am and 11am on November 8th.  Register here if you are interested in having your child dedicated.

  • Looking ahead: An Evening of Gratitude is planned for Tuesday, November 24th at 6:30pm and Christmas Eve services are planned for 3:00, 4:30, 6:00, 7:30 and 9:00pm.
  • If you've experienced loss, the holidays can seem overwhelming. Gain support and a new perspective by attending Surviving the Holidays, a seminar designed to help anyone who is struggling with grief. Join us in The Garage at our SW campus on November 9th at 6:30pm or at our Roanoke campus November 12th at 7:00pm.  Please register here.
     
  • Put November 14th on your calendar, you won't want to miss this!
    Join us for our Semi-annual Fish Fry November 14th at the Roanoke campus.  We will have pulled pork alongside our hand breaded fish and sides. This year we will have our craft show, bake sale, and a visit from Santa at the same time. It's a great time to buy some goodies for Thanksgiving and some gifts for Christmas.
