Join us for a celebration of life change at our annual baptism at 4 p.m. on Aug. 30! Gather with us on the lawn around the pond to witness the joy of water baptism -- bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on! Then stay for a catered church picnic, games and inflatables, and fellowship!
 
If you'd like to be baptized, pick up a registration form at the Welcome Center or fill out an online registration here. An information session for those being baptized will be held in the Garage during the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services this Sunday and next Sunday.

Do you have two hours to spare twice a month to play with toddlers or rock babies? We are seeking loving caregivers to care for children in our Mothers of PreSchoolers (MOPS) ministry so that young moms can have a break and get some encouragement and support. MOPS is a significant outreach for Sonrise Church, a way to show care and support to young families.

Even if you are only available once a month or a couple times during the year, we would love your help. Email mops@sonrisechurch.info for details!

Moms, treat your little princess to a special, glamorous evening at the Hollywood-style Mother/Daughter Girls Night Out at Chick-fil-A/Jefferson Pointe on Sept. 14!

You'll enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride, special Hollywood-themed activities and more! Reservations are required - register for the 5:00, 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. seatings by clicking here. Admission is free but does not include cost of food.

  • It takes lots of volunteers to feed the middle and high school students who attend FUEL on Sunday evenings! We are building the FUEL meals team that will cook and serve meals on Sunday evenings during the 2015/16 school year. Contact Josh and Marla Clapper if you're interested in helping!
  • Looking for a fun and easy way to serve? We have opportunities for cookie servers one Sunday each month! Our cookie ministry facilitates community, and volunteering is a fun way to meet people. Plus, sampling is allowed! Email Susan Abbott if you'd like more information.
  • Those who are separated, divorced or just considering these actions are invited to gain a godly perspective through Divorce Care. You will discover a friendly, caring group of people to walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Our Divorce Care group will meet on Mondays at 7 p.m. beginning Sept. 14. The cost is $15 for materials. Registration is not required -- just come and get connected.
  • Anyone interested in learning more about Sonrise Church's Care Ministries should plan to attend an informational meeting on September 28 at 6:30 p.m. We will review what this ministry encompasses and answer questions about serving opportunities.
