Join us for a celebration of life change at our annual baptism at 4 p.m. on Aug. 30! Gather with us on the lawn around the pond to witness the joy of water baptism -- bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on! Then stay for a catered church picnic, games and inflatables, and fellowship!

If you'd like to be baptized, pick up a registration form at the Welcome Center or fill out an online registration here. An information session for those being baptized will be held in the Garage during the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services on Aug. 23 and 30.

• FUEL students, we're getting together for a Night of Worship this Sunday from 6-7 p.m. This will be a great time of praise and worship to get your heart in the right place for the beginning of the school year!
   

• If you're looking for a fun and easy way to serve, we could use your help as a cookie server one Sunday each month! Our cookie ministry facilitates community, and volunteering is a fun way to meet people. Plus, sampling is allowed! Email Susan Abbott if you'd like more information.
   

• If you are separated, divorced or just considering these actions, Divorce Care can give you a godly perspective. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Our Divorce Care group will meet on Mondays at 7 p.m. beginning Sept. 14. The cost is $15 for materials. Registration is not required -- just come and get connected.
   

• Promotion Sunday is coming up soon - August 16. Preschoolers that are currently 4 years old (by August 1st) through fifth grade will promote to the next grade level that day. Children through 3 years move to the next class on their birthday.

   
• Registration forms for the 2015-2016 season of Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) are available at the Welcome Center.

• If someone in the Sonrise church body is sick, recovering from surgery, grieving or going through a tough time, the church's Meals Ministry steps in to provide food during the time of need. It is an incredible blessing to see a friendly face and receive a meal when you're hurting! If you'd like to be involved with the Meals Ministry, or if you know anyone needing meals, just check the bulletin tear-off or contact the church office.
