This event will culminate the new "MONEY: Under New Management" series and will celebrate spiritual movement and life change. Join us for a catered complimentary brunch at Deer Ridge Elementary immediately following each of our morning services. It will be a great time of fellowship and meeting new friends!

Sonrise Church is passionate about the life change that occurs at summer camp!
Registration for our three summer camps is taking off! About 150 kids have registered for our three camps already, and additional spots will go quickly as summer approaches, so don't delay in signing up! A $100 deposit holds your camper's registration. Visit the display in the lobby or sonrisechurch.info for more information on registration, deadlines, scholarships and more.

This Sunday, 150 kids will worship God and

learn about Jesus in KidZone!

 

That's A LOT of kids... and the good news is that KidZone is growing!

 

Each week, it takes about 60 volunteers to make KidZone happen. As our attendance increases, we have more opportunities for God to work through YOU - our students, parents and grandparents! We'd love for you to shadow one of our volunteers so you can see all that goes on and how you fit in! Please note your interest on the tear-off or contact Daphne Gottfried so she can get you plugged in!
  • Check-In (adult) 
  • Curriculum Prep (16yrs & up)
  • Caregivers - nursery or ones (16yrs & up)
  • Preschool Coaches - 2's through Kindergarten  (15yrs & up)
  • Adult coaches & student leaders for lower and upper elementary (14yrs &up)

These serving roles require a commitment of either once or twice a month.

  • Sonrise Church is offering a free Wills and Estate Planning Seminar on Monday, May 18, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Taught by Manet Shettle, president of the United Methodist Foundation of Indiana, this seminar will explore wills, trusts and other estate and end-of-life documents, as well as tax laws and estate planning. Join us as we discuss the careful stewarding of the resources God has given each of us. Childcare is not available. Please register here.
     

  • FUEL students, this Sunday Weaz will wrap up our three week series called VOICES... Many times we don't hear the voice of God... Weaz will shed some light on what God says about you...it's a great opportunity to invite a friend!!
     
  • Mark your calendar for a great family event at our sister church in Roanoke! The annual Fish and Tenderloin Fry is coming up this Saturday, April 25 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Adult cost is $8; Kids 3-10, $4; under 3 eat free! In addition to fantastic, hand-breaded fish and tenderloin, you'll enjoy homemade potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, homemade dessert, coffee and lemonade. Bring the whole family and enjoy great food and fellowship with our extended church family! Sonrise Roanoke is located at 12220 Lower Huntington Rd. in Roanoke.
     
  • The third class in our four-part Discover Sonrise Church series will continue on May 3 from 2-4 p.m. If you are interested in growing in your faith and discovering your ministry strengths, we encourage you to attend.
