SUMMER CAMP IS AROUND THE CORNER! Camp is a big deal here at Sonrise, and it's time to get fired up!

Parents of second through fifth graders... bring your student to Camp Night this Friday, Feb. 13, from 6:30 - 9 p.m.! Whether your child has attended summer camp in the past or this would be their first year, Camp Night will give them a taste of the adventure and awesomeness of Camp Lakewood! They'll get to meet the camp directors and counselors, play camp games, participate in discovery, small group and worship time, and dig into a Sundae Bar! Please register at the camp table in the KidZone hallway this Sunday, or stop by the church office for a registration form.

Following shortly after that is Camp Sunday on February 22! This is the Sunday when our congregation celebrates the adventure, spiritual growth, and deep connections that occur at summer camp!! Representatives from all our summer camps will be on hand to answer questions and enroll elementary, middle and high school students on the spot between the morning services.  

Get these camp dates on your calendar! 

High School: That Thing is June 14-19
Middle School: Camp Adventure is July 19-24
Elementary School: Camp Lakewood July 12-17    

We're heading into uncomfortable territory - for the next three weeks we'll be talking about dating relationships in the series OBSESSED. This Sunday we'll be looking at the Old Testament character Samson, who made unwise choices and got into a huge mess because he stopped using his brain. The bottom line is this: Dating is great, but thinking is better. Bring that friend who could use some wise counsel in this area - we'll have food, fun, some words to live by, and no judgment.
