We are continuing with our study Fully Known and Outrageously Supported. We've been learning a lot about what it means to be in community, known and supported by godly community. This is a great starting point for friends, so bring a few!

Pastor Scott Greene will be back at Sonrise this Sunday after spending the week distributing shoe box gifts in Panama with Operation Christmas Child. Sonrise Church has been a regional collection site for this ministry for 15 years, and Scott was invited to experience firsthand the role these shoe box gifts play in local ministry around the world! We are eager to learn what Scott observed, and hear stories as only he can tell them! See you Sunday!

Hey, parents of second through fifth graders... Camp Night is coming - Friday, Feb. 13, from 6:30 - 9 p.m.! Whether your child has attended summer camp in the past or this would be their first year, Camp Night will give them a taste of the adventure and awesomeness of Camp Lakewood! They'll get to meet the camp directors and counselors, play camp games, participate in discovery, small group and worship time, and dig into a Sundae Bar! Please reister at the camp table in the KidZone hallway this Sunday or next, or stop by the church office for a registration form.

Sonrise Church is committed to raising up Christian leaders and has developed Heart & Soul to facilitate that. Heart & Soul is our on-going leadership training program that prepares and mobilizes leaders... in our homes, businesses, schools and our church. Join us for challenging, useful teaching that will hone your leadership skills! Anyone high school age and older is welcome. An optional dinner is available at nominal cost. Sonrise Church attendees can register their children for Sonrise Preschool between the morning services on Sunday! Don't miss the opportunity to register your little one for this Christ-centered learning environment! Be sure to let your friends know about general public enrollment on Wed., Feb. 4 from 9-10 a.m.
FUEL students, we'll be watching the BIG GAME on the big screen Sunday night, plus we'll have games, food and fun! This is a great time to introduce your friends to FUEL, so bring a bunch!
Sonrise has a unique serving opportunity for one or two people who like to work behind-the-scenes. We are in need of someone to coordinate the communion ministry one Sunday each month. If you'd like more information, contact Pat Hinen in the church office.

Thanks to your generosity, $56,205 was collected in our Christmas Eve offering this year. This was the largest Christmas Eve offering in the church's history! We are truly blessed to be a blessing to others -- 100% of this money is being given away to support three initiatives:

FOOD: Blessings in a Backpack, to provide local elementary school children with a backpack of food to take home for 38 weekends during the school year.

WATER: Clean drinking water in Sierra Leone through Let Them LOL, an organization that provides basic resources to those who are suffering unjustly.

SHELTER: The Stan Buck Lodge at Epworth Forest, so future generations of Sonrise youth can benefit from our founding pastor's passion about camp.

Summer camp may seem a long way off, but Camp Sunday is just around the corner! Be here on Sunday, February 22 - we'll be talking about our upcoming camps and giving you a chance to sign up. Be sure to get the 2015 camp dates on your calendar too!

High School: That Thing is June 14-19
Middle School: Camp Adventure is July 19-24
Elementary School: Camp Lakewood July 12-17
