Register now for our final Heart & Soul leadership training event on Tues., Nov. 11 at 6:30 p.m. Heart & Soul is an on-going leadership training program that has been designed to prepare and mobilize leaders at Sonrise. We'll be exploring "My Story" and learning how we can leverage the influence God has given us by sharing our stories with others. An optional dinner is available at nominal cost. Breakfast in Bethlehem... a moment for families

 

Saturday, December 6th, the church will be transformed to resemble what the very first Christmas might have looked like for Breakfast in Bethlehem!  We will have characters from the nativity story walking around, Bethlehem shops, animals that might have been in the stable with the newborn King, and we will present the Christmas story! This is an event you will want to experience as a family! Tickets ($5 per person or $20 per family) are available in the lobby following each service. We hope you'll join us!

  • It's time to start packing shoe boxes! The collection week for Operation Christmas Child is less than a month away - Nov. 17-24. Every shoe box gift is an opportunity for a child to hear the message of the Gospel, so start packing! Watch for more information on Sunday.   
  • If you've experienced loss, the holidays can seem overwhelming. Gain support and a new perspective by attending Surviving the Holidays, a seminar designed to help anyone who is struggling with grief.   • The Young Adults ministry meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 at Sonrise SW. We're talking about relationships - dating, marriage, singleness and things related to those, so if you're a recent high school grad, college student, 20-something or young married couple, please join us!
     
  • Join us for an Evening of Gratitude, a time to worship and give thanks as we enter the holiday season, at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, Nov. 23.
     

  • Students, bring your friends on Sunday night for our new FUEL series ALL IN... we'll start off with Give Something. You have the power to serve in a powerful way. As students, you may feel rather powerless to make much of an impact, but we'll explore what the Bible says about your ability to give and serve... and the surprising returns you may see as a result. This is good stuff. Be there!
