Moving from rows to circles is a critical step to getting connected to a faith community. Our church has a wide variety of Life Groups and Bible studies with differing study topics, levels of activity and make-up... and several of these groups are inviting new members to join!

This is a great opportunity to step outside your comfort zone and show Jesus' love to some of the poorest people in the world. Serving on a short-term mission trip can be  truly life-changing! We encourage adults of all skill-levels and interests prayerfully consider serving on this trip. The deadline for registration is NEXT TUESDAY, Sept. 30. Register now for our upcoming Heart & Soul leadership training event on Tues., Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. Heart & Soul is an on-going leadership training program that has been designed to prepare and mobilize leaders at Sonrise so we can equip people to experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ - in our church, in the workplace, in our homes and schools, and around the world! • Several Bible studies are meeting this fall - it's the perfect opportunity to join a group that is digging into the Word. Sign up at the Welcome Center unless otherwise noted.

 * Betsy Rowe will lead a women's study of "One Thousand Gifts," by Ann Voskamp. This group will meet in the Conference Room on first and third Sundays at 11 a.m. beginning Oct. 5.

 * Greg Bilbrey will lead a men's study on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:30 a.m. in the Living Room beginning on Oct. 5. The group will decide on a topic or study once it meets.  

* All men are invited to an on-going men's Bible study that meets each Thursday from 7:00-8:30 a.m. at the Bob Evans at Jefferson Pointe. They are currently studying Proverbs. No sign-up necessary; just show up!

• The Young Adults ministry meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.
  If you're a recent high school grad, college student, 20-something or young married couple, please join us for food, fellowship and worship!
   
• If you are looking for a way to serve, we could use your help with our cookie ministry! We are in need of cookie servers to plate and serve cookies one Sunday each month. Our cookie ministry facilitates community, and volunteering is a fun way to meet people. Plus, sampling is allowed! If you'd like to help, email us at info@sonrisechurch.info.
   
• If you are separated, divorced or just considering these actions, Divorce Care
  can give you a godly perspective. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Our Divorce Care group meets on Mondays at 7 p.m. The cost is $15 for materials. Registration is not required -- just come and get connected.
