• Looking for a way to serve? Two areas could use your help right away:
  1. Cookie servers - We need a few more volunteers to plate and serve cookies one Sunday each month.  Consider helping us in an important role that fosters relationships in our Community Room on Sundays.  It's a fun way to meet people, and sampling is allowed!
  
  2. Nursery caregivers - Our congregation is booming, and we're in need of loving volunteers who can rock babies and read stories on Sunday mornings. It's a blessing to serve these little ones and give their parents an opportunity to worship.

• Dads, sign up today to bring your princess to the Frosted Daddy-Daughter Date Night at Chick-fil-A/Jefferson Pointe on Monday, Sept. 22. Your little lovely will have a memorable evening with a horse-drawn carriage ride and special time with Daddy! The event is free but does not include the cost of food. Reservations are required. • Men, if you're looking for connection and fellowship, then please join our Men's Bible Study that meets each Thursday from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at the Bob Evans at Jefferson Pointe. They are currently studying Proverbs.
• The Young Adults ministry meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. If you're a recent high school grad, college student, 20-something or young married couple, please join us for food, fellowship and worship!
• If you are separated, divorced or just considering these actions, Divorce Care can give you a godly perspective. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Our Divorce Care group will meet on Mondays at 7 p.m. beginning Sept. 8. The cost is $15 for materials. Registration is not required -- just come and get connected.

• We're planning a work trip to Haiti January 17-23, 2015. Our group will be serving in various ways with our partner Jesus in Haiti ministries, located about an hour north of Port Au Prince. This trip is open to adults. If you're interested, please pick up an information packet today at the Welcome Center. Deadline for registration is Sept. 30.
