Pastor Scott Greene will be teaching this Sunday, continuing our series "Storytellers,", focusing on the parables of Jesus. Join us!

Be a part of the celebration of life change at our annual, all-campus baptism! Gather with us on the lawn around the pond to witness the joy of water baptism -- bring blankets or lawn chairs to sit on! Then stay for a catered church picnic, games and inflatables for the kids, and great fellowship!

If you would like to be baptized, click here to complete online registration! A half-hour pre-baptism meeting will be held during the 9:30 and 11 a.m. services on August 10 and 17; please plan to attend one of these meetings if you're being baptized.

We are praising God that more than 100 people from Sonrise Church will be attending the Global Leadership Summit at the Embassy Theater next Thursday and Friday!

Looking ahead... Sunday, Aug. 17 is Kidzone Promotion Sunday... UpGrade! Give your family a little extra time that morning so you can locate new classrooms!

If you are separated, divorced or just contemplating these actions, Divorce Care can give you a godly perspective. Divorce Care is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Our Divorce Care group will meet at Sonrise Church on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning September 8th. The cost is $15 for materials. Ken Drummond will be leading the group. Registration is not required -- just come and get connected.
Are you the mom of an infant, preschooler or kindergartner, and you're craving some camaraderie, support and encouragement? Join our MOPS group right here at Sonrise Church! MOPS is an organization designed to come alongside young moms in this important season of their lives! Our group meets the first and third Thursdays of the month from 9-11:15 a.m. Your little one will be cared for in loving, structured setting while you get a break and enjoy some adult conversation! If you're beyond this stage in life, we would love your help as a caregiver for our MOPPETS!
