Carrying water every day is a reality for people in much of the world. Tragically, much of that water is unclean, and 4,000 children die every day because they don't have access to clean drinking water.  

Our Families on Mission project, the Water Walk, will teach us more about the world water crisis. Bring your children to Sonrise at 10 a.m. tomorrow, June 28, and help them learn about the urgent need for clean water around the world... and how they can help! This is a family event that will end with a huge celebration -- food, fun and bounce houses! -- of what our collected monies will accomplish! Be sure to bring your water bottles full of change that your kids collected!

Join us next Sunday to hear from our guest speaker Sarah Hill. Portrayed by Carrie Underwood in the movie Soul Surfer (the inspiring true story of Bethany Hamilton), Sarah is a youth pastor on the Island of Kauai. She'll be sharing with us about how God has worked in her life before she goes to minister for a week at Epworth Forest.

• Mark your calendar for our annual Baptism Celebration -- Sunday afternoon, Aug. 24 at the Southwest Campus. We will be baptizing people from all three of our campuses outside by the pond, followed by food and fellowship a church body. Please plan to join us for this great celebration of God's goodness to our church and new life in Christ!

• Elementary kids, we'll be heading to Camp Lakewood in less than a month! Get ready for a week of crazy fun and drawing close to God!! Camp fees are due by July 6 -- contact Susan (susan@sonrisechurch.info) in the church office with any questions.
