Join us Sunday as Pastor Scott begins our new summer teaching series titled "Storytellers." Over the next couple months, we'll be delving into Jesus' parables. Why did he teach that way, and what can we learn from them?

Pray this week for the for the 115 high school students and youth leaders that are heading to That Thing camp at Epworth Forest on Sunday!

Some of these kids don't attend FUEL, yet come to camp every summer. Others are attending camp for the first time and are nervous. And many of our campers are faithful FUEL attenders who wouldn't miss this week of getting disconnected from their everyday lives so they can cut loose, build community and spend time in deep worship of the Lord.

Please pray for the safety of our group, for God to break down barriers, and for lives to be changed, enriched and renewed!

Be sure to stop in the lobby on Sunday to learn more about the world water crisis. You won't be able to miss the giant wall of Lego guys -- 4,000 in total, which illustrates the number of children who die each day due to lack of clean drinking water.

The good news is: Sonrise Church is making a difference!

Pick up a water bottle in the lobby and fill it with spare change that will be used to drill wells in Africa! And, sign up to attend the Water Walk at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, where you can help your children learn about the world water crisis and how they can help! This is a family event that will end with a huge celebration of what our collected monies will accomplish!

Sonrise Church will be taking 100 leaders to the Global Leadership Summit, put on by Willow Creek but held in Fort Wayne, on August 14 and 15, 2014. Sonrise values raising up Christ-centered leaders in order to impact our church, our community, our schools and the world. This two-day event will be instrumental in growing Christian leaders in our church and throughout the community. Please join us - register online at sonrisechurch.info.
Join us on Sunday, July 6, to hear from our guest speaker Sarah Hill. Portrayed by Carrie Underwood in the movie Soul Surfer, Sarah is a youth pastor on the Island of Kauai. She'll be sharing with us on Sunday before going to minister to our youth at Camp Adventure!
Young adults, college students and new high school grads, pick up one of our Young Adult summer schedules at the welcome center. This Friday we're getting together for game night! For more information, contact Justin Sommer at justin@sonrisechurch.info.
Mark your calendar for our annual Baptism Celebration -- Sunday afternoon, Aug. 24. We will be baptizing people from all three of our campuses outside by the pond, followed by food and fellowship a church body. Please plan to join us for this great celebration of God's goodness to our church and new life in Christ!
