Heart & Soul: Summer Edition is coming up very quickly on Tuesday, June 10!

Heart & Soul is our church's leadership training series that focuses on raising up and supporting godly leaders. Sonrise believes that investing in Christ-centered leadership training will have a ripple effect -- as leaders from our church body have impact in their homes, schools, businesses and the world! High school students through adults are invited.

Heart & Soul: Summer Edition will be a little different than previous Heart & Soul events. We'll all enjoy a cookout on the patio, with fellowship, cornhole and other activities, followed by a time of instruction.

Recent high school grads, college students and young adults, our Young Adult ministry is planning a variety of activities to stay connected and have fun this summer!

We'll plan to meet every week: every other week on Wednesday evenings for Bible study, and on Fridays the following weeks for fun and games! All events start at 7:30 p.m. at Sonrise Church, 10125 Illinois Road, Fort Wayne.

Other Announcements

  • Would YOU carry water on your head??  

     

    Sonrise developed Families on Mission to give families with elementary age and younger children the opportunity to learn about important issues and get involved! This year, our FOM project will be the Water Walk on Saturday, June 28 at 10 a.m.

     

    The Water Walk will be a wonderful, hands-on event for families and their kids! It will help families understand the dire need for clean drinking water in places like Africa and show them how they can make a difference. Families can help raise funds to drill wells for clean drinking water. Mark your calendar now - more details coming next Sunday's service!

  • Eager to serve but don't know where to start? We could use you one Sunday a month as a cookie server! This is a great way to meet lots of people and get involved. Check the tear-off and place it in the offering bag today, or email your interest to info@sonrisechurch.info.

  • Registration forms for the 2014-2015 season of Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) are available at the Welcome Center.

  • If you or your child is graduating from high school or college this spring, please let us know so we can recognize his/her accomplishment. Just fill out the tear-off and place it in the offering basket. You can also email us at info@sonrisechurch.info.
