Hello Sonrise Church!

Thank you for signing up to receive our weekly Southwest Campus eNews!  We want to do everything we can to equip people to experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus!  Check out our website www.sonrisechurch.info for more information!

We're looking forward to Sunday night at FUEL -- it's our annual PASS THE BATON event! We will honor our graduating seniors and give them the chance to pass the baton of leadership to an underclassman. We'll have a cookout too -- it's our last FUEL of the school year and a great night of celebration. AND, we'll be passing out our summer calendar -- great stuff is planned!

We'd like to extend a special invitation to all incoming 6th graders -- please join us! This is your chance to see what FUEL is all about! Come and grab a burger or hot dog and join us for a great evening!

It has been a joyous week! 78 children graduated from Sonrise Preschool - they are ready for kindergarten! The graduation was a wonderful event, as the parents of these energetic little ones shared this milestone with them!

The Sonrise Preschool served 189 children this year. The preschool is an entry point for many families to get excited about teaching their child about Christ and start coming to church. We strive to provide a strong academic foundation and foster a love learning. But most importantly, we desire to make Christ and his love real in the lives of children and their families!

This week was the last session of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), a group that meets biweekly at Sonrise in support of mothers of young children. The MOPS mission is "No Mom Alone;" the Sonrise MOPS group provides encouragement, support and community for 40 moms, made possible by numerous leaders, mentor moms and caregivers who watch over the MOPPETS. This is a key, vibrant outreach of Sonrise Church!

Registration is open for the 2014-2015 MOPS year. Pick up a form and more information at the Welcome Center!
