Join us Sunday as Pastor Scott kicks off a new series titled "Next Generation." We'll be talking about and considering the legacy we leave for our kids and grandkids. The big idea is that we need to be deliberate about the spiritual inheritance we leave for future generations. What we leave "in" the next generation matters more than what we leave "for" them. Baby dedication demonstrates a commitment by parents to raise up their children in a godly way. If you would like to have your baby dedicated on Mother's Day - Sunday, May 11 - simply complete the bulletin tear-off and place it in the offering bag on Sunday. Join Sonrise in our efforts to provide clean drinking water in Sierra Leone, Africa by participating in or supporting the It Is Well 5K this Saturday, May 10. Our members Dave & Cari Mansfield are coordinating this run/walk that starts at the church and follows area paths and neighborhood routes to the finish line at Sonrise.  

 

The cost to participate is $40, and all proceeds will go directly to Let Them LOL, an organization that drills wells to provide clean water in Africa. Get the details and register online at www.ItIsWell5K.com.

  • Ladies, get connected and dig into The Word during a new Sunday morning study of Debbie Macomber's "Knit Together - Discovering God's pattern for your life." Betsy Rowe will lead this study that will meet at 11 a.m. in the Conference Room every first and third Sunday beginning June 1. Cost of books is $12. Sign up at the Welcome Center!   • More than 80 students have registered for That Thing, and 46 have registered for Camp Adventure! Summer schedules are hectic, so be sure to get camp on your calendar! A $100 deposit will hold your camper's spot. And, keep in mind that every child who registers through Sonrise is automatically eligible for a $100 scholarship! You can pay off the balance anytime up to two weeks before your camp date. Stop at the display in the lobby for more information and registration forms.
