Please join us today (Friday) to commemorate Jesus' death on the cross with worship and communion. Our Good Friday service will take place at 12:30 p.m. and is open to all.

Children's ministry will not be available during this service.
He Is Risen! Celebrate our Lord's resurrection this Sunday at any of our three services, all of which will all be held in our auditorium on Sunday, April 20! Who can you invite to join you this Sunday?

If you consider Sonrise your church home, please plan to attend either the 8:30 or 9:30 service that day, to make room for the many visitors we anticipate at the 11:00 service.

Children's ministry will not be available at the 8:30 service.
The "Be Different" series continues this Sunday... be the minority, and the majority will take notice of the goodness of God!

Jesus once prayed for His disciples that they would be different, or set apart from the world they lived in (John 17:15-19).  What does this mean to us today?  Why should it matter?  Join us at Sonrise Southwest this week with Scott Greene teaching.   Service times are 8:30, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.

  • Early bird pricing for summer camp ends Sunday  - the price increases $30 on April 21, so get your registration and a $100 deposit turned in before you leave church Sunday! Keep in mind that every child who registers through Sonrise is automatically eligible for a $100 scholarship from Sonrise! You can pay off the balance anytime up to two weeks before your camp date. Stop at the display in the lobby for more information and registration forms.

  • The first session of Pastor Mark "Weaz" Hammond's Men's Bible Study, titled "Stepping Up," kicked off last week! It's not too late to join this multi-generational study about becoming the man God intended you to be -- high schoolers and adults are welcome! The group meets on Saturdays from 9-10:30 a.m. Cost of the workbook is $10. Contact Weaz at weaz@sonrisechurch.info if you'd still like to participate.
  • Child dedication demonstrates a commitment by parents to raise up their children in a godly way.  If you would like to participate in our next Dedication Celebration at the Southwest Campus on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11th, simply register here! Contact Susan Abbott with questions.
  • You can support Sonrise's efforts to provide clean drinking water in Sierra Leone, Africa by participating in the It Is Well 5K on Saturday, May 10! The cost to participate is $40, and all proceeds will go directly to Let Them LOL, an organization that drills wells to provide clean water in Sierra Leone.
