October is Pennsylvania's Promise for Children Month. Throughout the month, LVCC will be celebrating young children and their families, teachers and leaders who are helping to support healthy child development. Benny's Pennies
Meet the Author 
Family Reading Night

Families are invited to join us for an evening with children's author Pat Brisson. Mrs. Brisson has published over 20 storybooks and chapter books for children. After reading from two of her books, she will share how a story grows from an idea to a completed book, answer questions from the audience, and autograph copies of her books. Each family will receive a free copy of Benny's Pennies and a take-home activity. Lite refreshments will be served.

Campus Fall Children's Festival
LVCC Fall Children's Festival
October 9, 2015      4:00PM-6:30PM

LVCC's Campus Center will hold their annual Fall Children's Festival on Friday, October 9th on their playground behind 410 E. 5th Street in Bethlehem.

Cops 'n' Kids will promote reading with free books for the children. The Bethlehem Fire Department will discuss fire safety while demonstrating features on their fire truck.
 
LVCC staff, with the help of Lehigh University student volunteers will operate a children's activity area with raffles, games and prizes. Activities feature face painting, temporary tattoos, and a balloon animal station.
