LVCC School-Age Art To Be Displayed at Allentown Art Museum
Beginning June 3, LVCC families can view their children's artwork at the Allentown Art Museum. Nearly 100 children, ages five through 12, participated in Woven Welcome, a community-based art project conducted by the Allentown Art Museum. Woven Welcome utilizes weaving as a way to connect individuals and groups through the creative process. The program is the brainchild of local artist and Cedar Crest College Art Department Chair, Jill Odegaard. The colorful rug segments will be connected and then unveiled as part of larger exhibition at the Allentown Art Museum throughout the summer. Martial Arts At LVCC Teaches More Than Self-Defense
Thanks to donations to the Program Enrichment Fund, over 145 Nazareth and Easton students actively participated in learning basic karate techniques which instilled character-building skills

Healthy foods and snacks play a large role in child development, which is why LVCC partnered with Penn State Cooperative Extension's Better Kid Care Program and Novick Brothers Corp. to create a sequence of nutrition videos.
Extended Registration Date for New Easton Area School District Locations
Beginning in the 2015-2016 school year, LVCC will provide before- and after-school child care at Easton Area School District.
If you haven't had the chance to register your child, LVCC is holding a last minute registration date. Walk-in registration will be held on June 2nd, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at F.A. March Elementary School, 429 Reeder St. in Easton.

Simply answer up to 10 questions about your young child. There are no wrong answers. Just choose the answer that best fits your situation. Watch a short video tip based on your answer and check out links to reliable resources like Pennsylvania's Office of Child Development and Early Learning. Create a map for each child to save your favorite tips and links for later. You can also:

Find fun family activities based on Pennsylvania's Early Learning Standards;
Compare child care/ early learning programs;
Create to-dos and notes;
Upload photos of your child and family; and
Search for local organizations that can provide additional help.
