What is the Week of the Young Child?
Beginning April 13th through April 17th, LVCC will celebrate national Week of the Young Child™ (WOYC). The WOYC is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the world's largest early childhood education association. It is a time to plan how we, as a community, will better meet the needs of young children and their families - and bring public attention to those needs.What activities are planned?
A number of special guests and festive learning activities have been scheduled throughout our 21 locations. A creativity contest is being held among LVCC sites. Anyone can enter our daily Facebook contest for a chance to win prizes. Families and friends of LVCC are invited to visit and engage in WOYC activities with the children and the following PA state legislators:

Sippin' Social Wine and Networking to Benefit the LVCC Scholarship Fund
Lehigh Valley Children's Centers (LVCC) invites you to join us at Sippin' Social 2015, a new wine and networking event on Tuesday, April 14th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres, while networking with other young professionals and community-minded individuals. New LVCC Sites to Open in Easton
 Starting Fall 2015, LVCC will provide before- and after-school child care for the Easton Area School District elementary schools. LVCC currently operates a site inside Forks Elementary School. With the additional six schools, LVCC's family is growing by leaps and bounds.
Hours of operation will be from 7:00 a.m. to start of school and end of school to 6:00 p.m. Extended Kindergarten care will be available at Forks, Palmer, Shawnee, Tracy Elementary Schools.
Register now for the fall to waive the registration fee.
