Finish Strong!

Let's finish strong with this administrative year's membership numbers by adding any new members by September 30 and accepting the Governor's Challenge!

Please also be aware of the end-of-year membership counting process. Kiwanis International has extended the time to process deletes until October 10th for the 2014-2015 year. Any membership additions starting on October 1, 2015 will be counted for the 2015-2016 year.

Please be prepared to pay your dues invoices for the 2015-2016 year in October, as soon as they are available online in KiwanisOne. A mailed copy of the paper roster will not be sent.

District Convention Recap

From the District office staff and Governor Alan Guire & First Lady Melissa, we extend our sincere gratitude to all Kiwanians and guests who attended and/or volunteered at the 95th Annual District Convention in Sacramento. Without your participation, the District Convention would not have been successful.

A special thank you to Convention Chairmen Bill Hooper and Rita Germain, the convention committee and volunteers, seminar presenters and moderators, Trustees, Lt. Governors and Cabinet members. We appreciate all that you did!

Our convention delegates elected Cherice Gilliam to serve as our District Governor next year and elected Pete Edwards to serve as Governor-elect. Congratulations to Cherice and Pete! For a full recap of the 2015 convention, be sure to explore the links to the left under "District Convention Recap."

Club Election Reports Past Due
laptop-couple.jpg
The 2015-2016 Club Election Report was due June 1st. Please review the report to see if your club is one of the 154 clubs that have not filed its report as of August 28th. If so, we ask that you make it a priority and submit your report online at KiwanisOne on the Secretary Dashboard, as the information contained in this report is used by both the International and District offices to build our club officer contact lists and is included in our directories. If your club has not filed, we can't effectively communicate with you after October 1st!

Club Leadership Education
Leadership
As a reminder, club secretaries must record their attendance/completion (and the club president, too) of Club Leadership Education (CLE) in the October Monthly Report.

If your incoming president or secretary hasn't completed the CLE training yet, please review the online training options available through Kiwanis International. Please note, incoming presidents and secretaries must satisfactorily complete either the online or in-person classroom formats of CLE by September 30 prior to the year they will serve to receive appropriate recognition.
